ACD-18 is a highly selective chelating resin built on a cross-linked polystyrene structure. Its functional groups are precisely tailored to efficiently and selectively bind and adsorb nickel ions (Ni²⁺) in complex solutions, especially those containing high concentrations of competing metal ions like iron (Fe²⁺/Fe³⁺), copper (Cu²⁺), and zinc (Zn²⁺). This resin effectively resolves the key technical hurdle of nickel-iron separation in industries such as hydrometallurgy, electroplating wastewater treatment, and battery recycling, facilitating the high-purity recovery and enrichment of nickel.

Exceptional Selectivity: This product exhibits an extremely strong affinity and selectivity for nickel ions (Ni²⁺). Within the optimal pH range of 3 to 6, it can efficiently overcome competitive interference from iron ions (Fe³⁺), enabling effective separation of nickel and iron.
High Adsorption Capacity: Featuring a relatively dense arrangement of functional groups, the resin boasts a theoretical saturated adsorption capacity for nickel of at least 0.8 mmol/g (wet resin), or even higher.
Superior Physical and Chemical Stability: The rigid styrene-divinylbenzene framework provides the resin with excellent mechanical strength, wear resistance, and resistance to acids and alkalis, making it ideal for long-term, cyclic use.
